DGSv celebrates 30 year anniversary

On May 16, 1989 the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Supervision e.V. (DGSv: German Association for Supervision) was founded by 27 members. They had a clear goal: to set standards in the professional training of coaches and supervisors (supervision counseling).
The founding principles of ensuring and developing excellence are still valid today. DGSv certifies advanced training and M.A. programs according to the most comprehensive set of quality assurance regulations in the German market. In 2016 DGSv added “Coaching” to its name, indicating that the very backbone of DGSv – its focus on excellence - applies to the Coaching market as well as the supervision counseling field.
